Designing Clear Communication District-Wide

Serving a diverse community of students, families, educators, and staff, Sequoia Union High School District relies on clear and effective communication across its schools and departments. As a Graphic Designer, I created visual solutions that supported district initiatives, enhanced community engagement, and transformed complex information into accessible, user-centered experiences.

Bringing District Staff Together Through Event Branding

Convocation 25’ & 26’ brought together educators, administrators, and support staff from across the district to celebrate the beginning of a new school year. I designed the event branding and supporting collateral, developing a consistent visual system that unified printed materials, merchandise, and digital communications throughout the experience.

Improving Campus Navigation Through Design

To improve navigation across campus, I collaborated with the principal of Woodside High School to design a permanent wayfinding system that simplifies the visitor experience. Two maps were created with unique orientations to match their installation locations, allowing users to quickly understand their surroundings and navigate with ease.

Helping Staff Navigate Campus Changes with Clarity

The original site plan illustrating district-wide HVAC upgrades was difficult for staff to interpret. I redesigned the layout by simplifying building forms, preserving spatial accuracy, and implementing a color-coded system with the facilities team, making construction impacts easier to understand at a glance. With these new templates in place, the construction and facilities department can easily communicate upcoming changes or remodels by highlighting specific rooms according to a clear, customizable key.
